Personal & Group Tuition
As both a qualified teacher and tailor with a degree in fashion and textiles I am uniquely positioned to offer the very highest standard of tuition in sewing, textiles, and design. I can tailor my classes to suit the beginner and those at an intermediate level wishing to further enhance their skills. I teach both group based and individual classes.
I can offer personal one-on-one tuition at either my workshop or at your home if it is within reasonable travelling distance. My popular 'Sewing Skills for Life' group classes are offered by 'Sew Your Own: Drop in Sewing Centre' in Gillingham. Sewing Skills for Life runs over six 2.5 hour workshops, and covers basic fabric know how, seams, zips, hems, facings, pleats, trims & buttonholes. This is an intensive course designed to give give you the skills and confidence to take on your own creative projects in areas such as dressmaking, accessories, and soft furnishings. Another group class offered through Sew your Own is the popular 'Project Workshop'. An individual 3 hour group class to make delightful projects such as bags, clothes, cushions and curtains to name but a few.
